How do I configure email on my mobile device (iPhone, Android, etc.)?
- First, ensure that your Google password is in sync with your @steu.edu password. You can do this at https://steu.clearlogin.com/change-password. Your new password may be the same as your old password if you don't want to change it.
- On your mobile device, open your browser and go to https://about.google/products/?tip=autofill. This will list a catalog of the mobile applications provided by Google. You will want to download and install the "Gmail" application. If you also want to sync your contacts and calendar, download and install the "Sync" application. You can read more about this at https://www.google.com/gmail/about/
- Open the Gmail application. It should prompt you to authenticate with your @steu.edu email address and password. If you have completed Step 1, you should not have any problems logging in and accessing your email. Setting up the Sync application requires that you authenticate with your @steu.edu email address and password, as well.
