NOTE: If you are setting up SEU email on a mobile device for the first time, you will have to Sync Your Password (Even if you have previously setup your account. You can reset it to the same password).

Tap on Settings on your Android phone (Figure 1).

Enter your email address (e.g. jdoe@steu.edu) and password (If this is the first time you are setting up SEU email on a mobile device, please Sync Your Password. You can reset it to the same password as you have currently). Tap Enter when you are done. (Figure 7)

You might get a captcha authentication request. Complete the captcha recognition by entering the word displayed on the captcha image. If you are having issues, you can go to https://www.google.com/accounts/unlockcaptcha and unlock your account. (Figure 8)

Please wait while your phone verifies your account with our server. (Figure 9)

Please uncheck the option box to Back up data with my Google Account and tap Next. (Figure 10)

Tap the Finish button to complete your setup. The process may take a few minutes to complete. (Figure 11)

When step 11 is done, go back to Settings --> Accounts & Sync (like in Step 1 & 2), and tap on your newly added Google account. (Figure 12)

Here you can choose which items on your account you would like your phone to sync with by checking/un-checking the corresponding boxes. (Figure 13)

Success! Please tap on the Gmail Icon to access your SEU email. Please note that any email deleted on the phone will be deleted on your SEU email account. (Figure 14)
