Physician Assistant
Pre-PA
Saint Elizabeth University and the SEU PA Program have collaborated with several institutions to provide pathways for student enrollment that includes early acceptance decisions (in the student’s junior year) to fill guaranteed seats.
- Early acceptance decisions (in the student’s junior year) to fill guaranteed 4 seats
- Requirements: Baccalaureate degree w/ cum GPA of 3.0 or better (as calculated by CASPA)
- Achieved a prerequisite GPA of 3.2 or better (as calculated by CASPA).
- Satisfactorily completed each of the following 12 prerequisites with a "B- (2.7)" or better
Requirements
Baccalaureate degree w/ cum GPA of 3.0 or better (as calculated by CASPA)
Achieved a prerequisite GPA of 3.2 or better (as calculated by CASPA). The most recent grade will be used in the calculation for any repeated coursework.
Satisfactorily completed each of the following prerequisites with a "B- (2.7)" or better:
- English Composition (3 credits)
- General Psychology (3 credits)
- Statistics (3 credits)
- Medical Terminology (1 credit)
- General Biology 1 with Lab (4 credits)
- Genetics (3 credits)
- Anatomy and Physiology 1 with Lab (4 credits)*
- Anatomy and Physiology 2 with Lab (4 credits)*
- Microbiology with Lab (4 credits)*
- General Chemistry 1 with Lab (4 credits)
- General Chemistry 2 with Lab (4 credits)
- Biochemistry (3 credits)
300 or more hours of direct patient care experience, 16 hours of PA shadowing experience and 50 hours of community service.
Three letters of recommendation; one letter must be from a professor attesting to academic capability and at least one must be from a physician or PA attesting to professional capacity.
Submit two personal statements detailing:
- The applicant's fit with the Mission, Vision and Goals of the MS PA Program and Saint Elizabeth University
- A social justice issue they are passionate about and believe they can address as a PA
Speech-Language Pathology
Pre-SLP
This one-year online Pre-SLP track offers prerequisite coursework required by Saint Elizabeth University’s M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology as well as for other speech-language pathology and audiology graduate programs with similar requirements.
One-year online coursework:

Early Assurance Program
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Early Assurance Program (REAP)
The medical school, in conjunction with Rutgers University, Seton Hall University, Saint Elizabeth University, Monmouth University, and The College of New Jersey, has an articulated program for educationally and/or economically disadvantaged undergraduates interested in careers in medicine.
(An information session took place in the Rainis Auditorium on Dec. 1 with RWJ Medical School to promote and answer questions from students and faculty about the Early Assurance Program. The session was very well attended, with almost 80 students in attendance.
Dual Professional Degrees
M.D with AUA College of Medicine
Completion of prerequisite math and science courses in the biology major. A grade of C+ or better is required for BIO111 and BIO113; a grade of C or better in the other prerequisite math and science courses.
Students are to maintain a minimum cumulative G.P.A of 3.25 (on a 4.00 scale) or better in the prerequisite math and science courses, and an overall cumulative G.P.A. of 3.5.
M.D. with St. George’s University School of Medicine
Qualified students will be able to receive simultaneous admission to Saint Elizabeth
University and St. George's University School of Medicine. If they maintain certain
minimum academic standards as undergraduates, they'll be eligible to continue on to
SGU to pursue postgraduate medical degrees.
Students interested in the new program must declare their intention when they apply
to Saint Elizabeth University. The two institutions will conduct interviews with qualified
applicants to determine whether to offer admission to the combined degree program.
Undergraduate students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.4 and achieve an MCAT score within five points of the average for students who enrolled at St. George's the previous term to achieve full admission. (Grenada)

Doctor of Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy with Methodist University
Acceptance into doctoral degree programs is extremely competitive. Saint Elizabeth University has an affiliation agreement with Methodist University that guarantees admittance into their Doctor of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Occupational Therapy programs for two qualified SEU students per program every year. This is a 4+3 program where students earn a B.S. in Biology from Saint Elizabeth University and then attend Methodist University for three additional years to earn the DPT or OTD degree.
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with NY College of Podiatric Medicine
Saint Elizabeth University (SEU) and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) have developed a 3+4 program for qualified students. SEU has four seats available for each entering class at NYCPM. Students attend Saint Elizabeth University for three years and complete their required prerequisite science and math courses as well as general education course requirements. Following the successful completion of all course requirements at SEU, a student will then attend the New York College of Podiatric Medicine for four years and complete training in podiatric medicine. A student receives his/her B.S. in Biology after completing the first year of the program at NYCPM and his/her D.P.M. at the completion of the program.

SEU recommends that Pre-Med/Dent/Vet students major in Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry. However, students are not required to do so, and faculty can assist students in any major with planning their Pre-Med/Dent/Vet course sequence.
