SEU Partners with PCI for Alumnae/i History Project

January 06, 2025

As part of our 125th anniversary, Saint Elizabeth University is partnering with Dallas, TX-based Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) to launch the SEU Alumnae/i History Project! With more than 15,000 alumnae/i around the world, we know every member of the Saint Elizabeth family has a tale of friendships formed, challenges conquered, and moments that defined your time here. That’s why we’re launching an exciting oral history project to capture your story, told in your own words, and preserve it as part of our enduring legacy.

By sharing your story, you’ll help us honor the diverse journeys of our graduates and contribute to the vibrant legacy of Saint Elizabeth University. Together, let’s celebrate the moments that have shaped who we are!

How It Works

Participating in the project is simple! Keep an eye out for postcards and emails with a phone number to call in and share your story over the phone (see postcard and email samples in FAQs).

During the call, we will also verify your contact information to ensure that we have the most up-to-date information in our system. Rest assured, all personal information will be kept confidential and used only for this purpose.

You will be able to buy the SEU Alumnae/i History Project book or digital publication during the call, as well as some custom branded merchandise, but the purchase is totally optional! You can just reconfirm your contact information and record your story; no purchase necessary.

What to Talk About

There are countless ways to share your Saint Elizabeth University memories. Here are just a few ideas to inspire your story:

  • What was your favorite class? Who was your favorite professor?
  • Were you involved in athletics, clubs, or student organizations?
  • Did you participate in internships or experiential learning opportunities? How did you find them, and what impact did they have on your career and life after graduation?
  • How did being part of the Saint Elizabeth community shape your education and your outlook on the world?

We can’t wait to hear your unique story!

What Happens Now

Your stories will become part of a special keepsake book, available in both print and digital formats, celebrating the vibrant history of Saint Elizabeth University. Plus, as a participant, you’ll have the opportunity to snag exclusive Saint Elizabeth University-branded merchandise to commemorate the experience!

Please note: Sharing your story and updating your information is absolutely free — there’s no obligation to purchase the book, digital edition, or merchandise. This is all about celebrating you and your connection to Saint Elizabeth University!

Yes. We have partnered with PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts) to produce an oral history publication for SEU. PCI is a family-owned business based in Dallas, Texas, that has published books for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities, and military organizations across the nation for more than 100 years. This project allows us to hear about your personal experiences from your time at SEU and how the University has helped to shape your life since then. And, while we have you on the phone, we want to make sure your contact information is up to date.

Below you will find examples of a sample postcard and email that you will receive from PCI with the call-in information that you can use to update your information and share your story with us:

Your story will be recorded, and the sound clip provided to SEU at the conclusion of the project.

  • If you have received an email with an embedded link, you may go to the online site to review your information and submit a story.

  • If you are living internationally or are unable to call the update line, please email customerservice@publishingconcepts.com. PCI will send you a personalized link for you to share your written story and photo.

  • If you can’t find the email or postcard and want to reach PCI directly, please call 888-827-6096.

Unlike previous alumni directories, the only information that is included in the Alumnae/i History Project is your name, class year, and degree, along with your story and photo. No contact information is printed. When you call to update your contact information, it will be used only to update your information on record for SEU. You may revoke consent for your story and/or photo to appear anytime before June 13, 2025, by contacting PCI’s customer service helpdesk at 1-800-982-1590 or customerservice@publishingconcepts.com.

You will receive an email with a link to upload one photo (black and white or color) plus a caption.

If you have also purchased a book but do not have an email address on file, you will be sent a photo mailer to send in a physical photo to be printed (note: the photo will be returned if you include a self-addressed, stamped envelope).

Only SEU alumnae/i may purchase the publication; it is not available to the general public.

There are a variety of products and packages available for alumni to purchase, including a physical book, a digital publication, and exclusive branded merchandise. We will add cost details here shortly!
