For Faculty and Staff

Mahoney Library serves the research and information needs of the entire campus community. Please call on us if you have difficulty finding the sources that you need.

Developing Student Research Skills

You can request a Zoom instruction or invite a librarian to come to you to give your students a head start on research. We offer instruction on databases and online research, evaluating sources, finding peer-reviewed journal articles, searching the web, citations, and more.

Library Workshops (Faculty)

To schedule an information literacy session for your class please use the request form above. Topics of instruction can be general research, specific databases and resources, and Zotero.

Requests must be submitted at least two (2) weeks in advance and are met on a first come, first serve basis. Faculty attendance and participation is required.

Course Reserves (Faculty)

You can place course reading or study materials on reserve at the library. Students are only allowed to check them out for two hours at a time, giving everyone more access to the materials. These may be library-owned books, or your own personal copy of a textbook, article, or other resource. If you would like to place an item on reserve, please click on the link to fill out the request and then bring the item to the Circulation Desk at Mahoney Library. You can also fill out a form in person, when dropping off the item, if you prefer.
