Study Locally, Travel Globally
Study Abroad is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain a global perspective
and build understanding and appreciation of other cultures and locations. SEU supports
international and domestic travel to enrich student learning.
Opportunities exist for both international and domestic experiences, and are designed
to combine academic experiences with experiential learning, and to provide students
with a better understanding of the world, our common threads, and the differences
among us.
For students interested in studying away, SEU provides assistance in identifying appropriate
programs that best fit students' personal and academic goals, navigating the application
process, and preparing for the experience.
Types of Programs
Domestic Experiences
- Yes We Must Coalition domestic exchange program
- Short-Term Individual or Group Experiences
- Service Experiences (both domestic and international)
International Experiences
- Fairleigh Dickinson University Wroxton, England campus semester experience
- Intensive Language Programs through our Partnership with Education First
- Individual Semester or Year-Long Experiences
- Short-Term Individual or Group Experiences
- Peace Seminar in Hiroshima, Japan
Since program deadlines vary, SEU encourages students to meet with their advisor and
with the Study Abroad Coordinator early in their planning process. In general, students
should expect to apply at least six months prior to the date they wish to start.
If you are receiving financial aid, that aid may be applied toward a Study Abroad
program, depending on your program of choice.
For more information, schedule an appointment with the Study Abroad Coordinator.
