Student Engagement

The Office of Student Engagement, located on the second floor of Mahoney Library, provides extracurricular programming for the SEU community. Programs and services include social, cultural and educational events as well as leadership training for students. Some of the annual events sponsored by the Student Engagement Office include:

• Back to School BBQ: The BBQ welcomes all students back to campus for another year. It generally takes place outside of Saint Joes and is supplemented by dessert food trucks.
  
• Fall Fest: This family day celebration, t, is held on campus each fall in conjunction with the Fall Open House. It is a day of games, food and entertainment. Booths and activities sponsored by each campus club and organization lend a festive air to this carnival-type event.
  
• Homecoming: Generally held the 1st week of February each year. This event is focused around both Men's and Women's Basketball.
  • The weeklong festivities include the crowning of senior homecoming king and queen as well as a court made up of members of the other classes. In addition to these events, the Office of Student Engagement is also responsible for planning the Orientation program which new students participate in every fall.
