Hello SEU Residential Community!
We are looking forward to welcoming you this weekend! The halls are prepped and sanitized
for your safe return.
Please read this entirely, as it provides you the information you need to ensure that
your return to campus will be a smooth process, supporting social distancing.
As has been conveyed in past emails, the following paperwork must be complete in order
for you to move back on to campus.
- If you have a bill with a balance and you have registered for classes, you MUST have a payment plan in place to pick up your key. If you have questions about your bill, please email bursar@steu.edu. If you have questions about your financial aid, please email financialaid@steu.edu.
- All of your mandatory health records have been submitted (new and transfer students). Please contact Health Services at (973) 290-4132 to determine what documentation you need to submit. Incomplete medical records will prohibit you from moving back.
- Your housing contract is electronically signed.
Please click here to sign the contract, if you have not already done so. After you sign the contract you will be taken to the appointment sign-up page.
If ANY of these requirements are incomplete, you will not be permitted to pick up your keys
and move in.
Please note, our plans and schedule are dependent on the ongoing guidance from the
state of New Jersey and public health officials.
Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 23
To support social distancing a staggered move-in process is being implemented. Advance
sign-up will be required for preset time slots to allow us to maintain social distancing
recommendations and minimize traffic.
Due to current residents already in quarantine, ONLY the student will be permitted
into the hall. A mask must be worn when in common areas.
We strongly encourage you to minimize the amount of personal property brought to campus
this year, so please pack light. Additionally, no outside furniture (futon, bean bag,
chairs) will be permitted this year.
We are also pleased to announce that the University has rented micro-fridges (a microwave/
refrigerator combination) for every student room. Do not bring an additional refrigerator.
If you have any questions, please contact residencelife@steu.edu.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation with our safety protocols. We look forward
to seeing you soon
