ProQuest Research Library: Science & Technology
This resource covers publications on the latest science and technology information
for researchers of all levels.
Science Direct
Contains full text, peer-reviewed books and journals for chemistry, physics, materials
science, biochemistry, molecular biology, astronomy, and chemical engineering
BioMed Central
BioMed Central publishes over 300 journals in biology, medicine, chemistry, and other
sciences. All are open access (freely available to anyone)
Academic Search Complete
Over 6,400 active full-text journals, more than 5,700 being peer-reviewed titles,
providing access to critical information unique to this database. Covering STEM research,
including biology, and other topics
National Library of Medicine
Published by the National Institute of Health, NLM is the world’s largest biomedical library. It also supports and conducts research, development, and training in biomedical informatics and health information technology. There are four databases available to the public:
- MEDLINE, which uses Medical Subject Headings (MeSH®) to index citations
- Medline Plus, which provides easy-to-understand information on various medial topics
- PubMed, which contains both full-text and paywalled articles (use ILL to request paywalled articles)
- PubMed Central (PMC), which only contains articles with full text available for free
