Where to Find Us

The Wellness Center at SEU is located at Founder's Hall on the first floor. If you do not have dorm access, use the entrance on the left side of the building, ring the doorbell and we will let you in. If you do have dorm access, scan yourself in the main door and turn left (we are straight ahead by the stairs). If you have any issues finding us, please call the front desk at 973-290-4132.

Dr. Rhoda Donat-Flowers is board certified family medicine physician passionate about empowering students to take charge of their health and well-being. With expertise in preventative care and a deep commitment to health education, she strives to create accessible, student-centered solutions that support a balanced, thriving life—academically and beyond. She’s a graduate of Rowan University – SOM formally known as UMDNJ-SOM.

As a physician and serial entrepreneur with close to two decades of leadership in both medicine and business she mentors multipotential physician-entrepreneurs and shares insights drawn from the most successful physician-innovators of our time. She is also a published author and keynote speaker, dedicated to addressing physician burnout and helping professionals transition into meaningful ventures.

Whether creating resources for students or empowering professionals to reclaim control of their lives, her mission is clear: to revolutionize health and wellness through education, innovation, and holistic care. In her spare time, Dr. Donat-Flowers enjoys exploring the arts, attending the theater, immersing herself in nature, and hiking.


Liz Zappile, MA, LPC, NCC, MT-BC

Mental Health Clinician

Liz McLaughlinLiz is a licensed professional counselor in the state of NJ. She received her bachelor’s of music degree from Radford University with a concentration in Music Therapy. After receiving her board certification, Liz provided music therapy to people with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses, neuro-cognitive disorders, and substance use disorders. Liz received her master’s of arts degree in clinical mental health counseling from Caldwell University and was inducted into the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology.

Liz has worked mostly in private practice treating adults with mental health issues and specializes in addiction, codependency, stress, and men’s issues. A long term professional goal of Liz’s is to write a self-help book focusing on men’s mental health. Liz’s counseling skills are centered around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBT).

In her free time, Liz is usually hiking, biking or paddle boarding with her dog. Liz enjoys cooking, trying new foods, playing guitar, skiing, camping, and traveling.


Maryum Raheem, MA, LAC

Maryum RaheemMaryum is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of NJ. Maryum received her Master’s degree from Seton Hall University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Maryum is an experienced counselor with a demonstrated history of working with youth, adolescents, adults and families in school, community, partial-hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings. She is a diligent counselor, exercising competency in broad subject matter therapies and has worked individually, as well in various group settings.

To move towards change, Maryum provides a warm and empathetic environment for clients of all ages to explore their current difficulties. In addition to providing a safe and non-judgmental environment, Maryum’s goal is to create a positive therapeutic alliance that will increase your motivation to strive for growth, and overall positive well-being. Maryum understands that seeking out therapy is a personal choice, so utilizing person centered counseling is a way for her to build that therapeutic rapport. Maryum’s counseling approaches also include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and strength-based therapy.


Janoa Watson

Medical Records Coordinator

Janoa Watson is the Medical Coordinator for the Wellness Center. She is the point of contact for general questions, scheduling appointments, and for assistance with immunizations and requirements. She has a BA in Athletic Training from Montclair State University. In her free time Janoa enjoys gardening, reading and being outdoors.
